Japanese Souffle Pancakes
Want to have the yummy Japanese souffle pancakes in its original taste, no need to visit japan for this, here is the typical souffle pancakes just like you get it in every Japanese restaurant.

Ingredients-
For yolk
mixture
Eggs yolks- 2
Sugar- 20g (1tbsp+1tsp)
Milk- 20 ml
Milk- 20 ml
Vanilla
essence- ½ tsp
Oil- 2tsp
All-purpose flour
(Maida)- 35g (2tbsp+1tsp)
For the
meringue
Egg whites-3
Lemon juice-
½ tsp
Powdered
sugar-20g
Method-
For yolk
batter
Firstly,
separate the egg yolks and whites into two bowls.
- To the yolks add half of the sugar(20g), milk,
- oil, vanilla essence and whisk them all nicely now add the flour.
- mix it till its soft and creamy now, keep it aside.
For meringue-
- Take the egg whites, add ½ tsp lemon juice and start beating it with a beater, while beating itself keep on adding the remaining sugar little by little and beat the white to stiff peaks. It will look like this.
- Now, slowly and gradually combine the egg yolk batter with the beaten egg whites, not all at the time but little at a time.
- Final step- to make the souffle Pancake.
- Heat up a pan brush some oil on top and make sure that the heat should be mild now pour or pipe the batter to the pan, sprinkle some water over the surface.
- Now, put a lid on top and cook for 3-4 mins now flip to other side carefully.
- and cook it for another 3-4 minutes, and your pancake will puff beautifully
